I know this is my first entry... Well, here goes...

Today was Chinese New Year! YOT: PIG! Well, GOLDEN PIG!!!11one

For the day, I got to call my uncle in China! He was funny, trying his best to speak english But he had my mom on the line so she could translate from Chinese into english what he couldn't say (Cus my Chinese aint the best )

Anyway, he told me how people were celebrating in his village, and how much it's advanced since I visited when I was REALLY little. I mean, NOW THEY HAVE A PHONE! Well, he told me officials in China are worried about a repeat of the 2000 CNY, the year of the Dragon, and that another Population boom'd force alot more schools to overload cuz it's the Golden Pig year, meaning children born this year'd be EXTRA happy and lucky. Well, people take advantage and have lots of children, filling the schools and making the already overcrowded country worse. (Taxes for those families go up for more than 1 child)
